Main Terms and Conditions
PROMOTER: The Promoter is Co-op Insurance, a trading name of Co-op Insurance Services Limited; registered in England and Wales with registration number 4390. This promotion is provided and managed on the Promoter’s behalf by The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited (MLP), (Company number 06467245) of The Cow Shed, Walnut Tree Farm, Lower Stretton, Cheshire, United Kingdom, WA4 4PG.
OPENING DATE: This promotion will operate from 11th December 2023.
THE OFFER: All New Customers who buy a Life Insurance policy direct with Co-op (“Eligible Policy”) from 11th December 2023, will be eligible to receive either a £100 cheque, or a £100 Amazon.co.uk Gift Cardor a £100 Love2shop eGift Card (the “Offer”).

Your policy must be in force for a minimum of 6 months with premiums up to date.
A New Customer is someone who hasn’t got an existing Legal & General Life Insurance policy bought through Co-op Insurance Services at the time of purchase of the Eligible Policy.
NOTIFICATION AND APPLICATION OF THE OFFER: There is no requirement to enter a promotional code when purchasing a Life Insurance policy as Legal & General will identify all Eligible Customers.
Only one Love2shop eGift Card, Cheque or Amazon.co.uk Gift Card per Eligible Policy bought, which will be subject to their own Terms and Conditions.
HOW TO REDEEM: Eligible Customers will receive a ‘How to Claim’ email within 15 days of their policy passing the eligible 6 month period, which will include offer details, information on how to select and redeem the offer and associated T&Cs.
Customers will have 30 days from the date the email was sent to choose which offer they would like. If the customer hasn’t selected which offer they would like within the first 15 days of receiving their ‘How to Claim’ email, a ‘Reminder Email’ will be sent to advise they only have 15 days remaining to make their choice.
Through the email, customers will be directed to a website hosted by MLP, where they will be directed to select either a £100 cheque or a £100 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card or a £100 Love2shop eGift Card.
Once the customer has selected their chosen Offer, they will be directed to a page with their gift code and provided with details on how to redeem and expiry information.
A courtesy gift email will be sent to the customer which will include their chosen Offer details.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: The Offer has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, or an alternative choice
You must notify us if there are any issues with receiving your offer within 12 months of your policy start date, contact information can be found here(Link opens in a new tab). Where you fail to contact us within 12 months of your policy start date, we may in our absolute discretion refuse to fulfil the Offer without liability to you.
The terms and conditions of this offer do not alter or vary the terms and conditions of any Eligible Policy bought.
Any applications for an Eligible Policy are subject to normal terms and conditions including underwriting criteria.
Fraud and abuse relating to the Offer may result in the forfeiture of the Love2shop eGift Card, the Cheque or the Amazon.co.uk Gift Card and termination of the insurance contract/Eligible Policy.
The sourcing and delivery of the Offer will be fulfilled by The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited (MLP) of The Cow Shed, Walnut Tree Farm, Lower Stretton, Cheshire WA4 4PG on behalf of Co-op Insurance. MLP are, as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679), the Data Processor and Co-op Insurance will be required to pass some of your personal information to The Marketing Lounge Partnership to fulfil the Offer. By accepting the Offer, you agree to give consent for this information to be shared.
EXCLUSIONS: This Offer is for new Legal & General Life Insurance customers bought through Co-op only.
Policies bought via price comparison websites or cashback sites are not eligible for this Offer.
If you cancel within 6 months of the policy start date, you will not be eligible to receive the Offer.
For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Policies bought in conjunction with Co-op Membership exclusive offers will still be eligible for this Offer.
The underwriter reserves the right to decline any application for any insurance policy at its absolute discretion and is not obliged to disclose any reason for rejection.
CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL: Co-op Insurance reserves the right to withdraw, modify or terminate this Offer, without notice, in whole or in part in the event that it is necessary to do so, or if the uptake of the Offer exceeds expectations.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions will be available at www.coop.co.uk/lifeoffer . It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any such changes.
If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
RELEVANT LAW: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.
Love2shop eGift Card Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to your Love2shop eGift Card and its use by you. By using your Love2shop eGift Card you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions which shall form a legally binding contract between You and the Purchaser. You must read them carefully.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:-
‘Love2shop eGift Card’ means the 14 digit number issued by PCS which is to be used at www.love2shoprewards.co.uk;
‘Sales Support’ means the contact centre operated for and on behalf of PCS for dealing with all your enquiries; details of such centre are contained in condition 11;
‘Goods’ means the e-codes which are available from us which can be purchased using Love2shop eGift Card
‘PCMS’ means Park Card Marketing Services Limited (Company Registration No. 5325492) whose registered office is at Valley Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside CH41 7ED;
‘PCS/‘We’/‘Us’/’Our’ means Park Card Services Limited (Company Registration No. 3280082), the E-money issuer, whose registered office is at Valley Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside CH41 7ED;
‘Purchaser’ means the person who paid PCS for the Love2shop eGift Card
‘SMS’ means the short message service allowing the interchange of short text messages between mobile telephones (texts);
‘You’/’Your’ means the person to whom the Love2shop eGift Card has been gifted to by the Purchaser as part of its incentive/reward scheme or such other permitted user of the Love2shop eGift Card from time to time.
2. The Love2shop eGift Card
2.1 The Love2shop eGift Card is issued to the Purchaser. We may and will assume unless and until we are notified to the contrary, that the person who uses the Love2shop eGift Card at any time is the rightful user of the Love2shop eGift Card
The Love2shop eGift Card -
cannot be exchanged for cash and no exchange can be given by us;
2.2.2 can only be used to purchase Goods on line at www.love2shoprewards.co.uk
Love2shop eGift Card may be denominated in GB £s or Euro
You will not earn any interest on any funds loaded onto the Love2shop eGift Card nor receive any other benefit related to the length of time you hold the Love2shop eGift Card
We will not issue a statement in respect of your Love2shop eGift Card but details of the balance on your Love2shop eGift Card can be obtained in accordance with condition 5.
Unused balances are not transferable.
The Purchaser/You must be over the age of 18 and resident in the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands.
3. Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Destroyed Love2shop eGift Card
3.1 If your Love2shop eGift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed You must notify us immediately by telephoning Sales Support and quoting the Love2shop eGift Card number.
3.2 Upon receipt of the Love2shop eGift Card number We will immediately cancel the Love2shop eGift Card.
3.3 Until We receive your notification in accordance with condition 3.1 all purchases made using the Love2shop eGift Card will be debited to the Love2shop eGift Card
3.4 After such security checks as We may require, We will, unless We believe that fraud may be involved, and subject to condition 3.5, arrange for a replacement Love2shop eGift Card to the value of the balance on the Love2shop eGift Card at the time it is reported lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed to be issued to You.
3.5 Valid claims will be completed within 5 working days and may be subject to an administration fee.
4. Charges
All charges by Us referred to in these Terms and Conditions will be
4.1 automatically deducted from the balance on your Love2shop eGift Card
4.2 subject to variation as and when We require, subject to Us giving not less than 28 days prior notice of any such variation before making any deduction from your Love2shop eGift Card.
5. Expiry of the Love2shop eGift Card
Your Love2shop eGift Card will expire on the date set out in the email notifying you of the Love2shop eGift Card number following which it will no longer be valid and neither You nor any other person will be able to use the Love2shop eGift Card.
6. Redemption
The Love2shop eGift Card has been given to you. You have no right of redemption nor any right to require the Purchaser to exercise a right of redemption.
7. Complaints
7.1 If You have a complaint concerning your Love2shop eGift Card then please contact us via www.love2shoprewards.co.uk
7.2 All complaints will be dealt with as quickly and as fairly as possible in accordance with our complaints procedure, details of which can be obtained from www.love2shoprewards.co.uk.
8. Data Protection
We are committed to maintaining all data which we collect and process in accordance with the requirements of all applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPRs) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that all personal data concerning You or Your Love2shop eGift Card is kept secure against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or destruction. Further details are contained within our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, links to which can be found at the footer of our website www.love2shoprewards.co.uk. By using Your Love2shop eGift Card and/or otherwise providing us with Your personal data You agree to the terms contained within our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
9. Use of the Love2shop eGift Card
Full instructions on how the Love2shop eGift Card is used can be found on the
personalised email(s) you have received.
You must:-
treat the Love2shop eGift Card as if it were cash;
take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the Love2shop eGift Card is not lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed Love2shop eGift Card;
let Us know as soon as possible if your Love2shop eGift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
Keep the email which contains the Love2shop eGift Card safe.
The Love2shop eGift Card can only be used to purchase goods on line at www.love2shoprewards.co.uk.
We will debit the amount of all purchases from the balance on your Love2shop eGift Card immediately the purchase is completed.
If we need to investigate a transaction on the Love2shop eGift Card then You must co-operate with Us, the police or any other authorised body if this is reasonably required.
The maximum amount You can spend is the amount of the Love2shop eGift Card. If You attempt to spend more than the balance the transaction will be declined.
The Love2shop eGift Card must not be sold by You, or by any other holder of the Love2shop eGift Card from time to time, but it may be gifted by You to any person to use to pay for Goods. If you gift a Love2shop eGift Card to another person You will be responsible for all use of the Love2shop eGift Card and You must ensure that such person understands and complies with the obligations contained in these Terms and Conditions, particularly those relating to the security and use of the Love2shop eGift Card.

11. Rights of Third Parties
These Terms and Conditions do not create any right enforceable by any person who is not a party to them, except that:-
11.1 these Terms and Conditions may be enforced by Us;
11.2 a person who is the permitted successor or assignee of the rights of a party referred to in these Terms and Conditions is deemed to be a party to these Terms and Conditions and the rights and obligations of such successor or assignee shall, subject to and upon any succession or assignment permitted by these Terms and Conditions, be regulated by these Terms and Conditions.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed in accordance with English Law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All communications with you will be in English.
13. Variation
13.1 We may vary these Terms and Conditions as and when We require (including, without limitation, changing existing fees or introducing new fees), provided that We have given You not less than 2 months’ prior notice of any such variation, unless a change in the law does not allow Us to provide You with 2 months’ prior notice.
13.2 When We notify You of a change to these Terms and Conditions, You will be deemed to have accepted the notified change unless You notify Us that You do not agree to the change prior to the change taking effect. In such circumstance, We will treat Your notice to Us as notification that You wish to terminate these Terms and Conditions immediately and without charge.
13.3 Notification of any changes will be provided to You by email, by post, via Our website, and/or by other agreed means and You agree that this is an appropriate method to vary these Terms and Conditions.
14. Physical Gifts
14.1 Our physical gifts (Hampers, wines, champagnes...) are provided and despatched by our partner Simply Thank You. The following terms are associated to gifts only.
14.2 Purchasing Through Simply Thank You
We know that our customers want to have complete confidence when they shop with Simply Thank You, so we back each of our products with the Simply Thank You quality pledge. Our products are thoroughly tested before they make it to the pages of our site. We source the best products, food, drink and flowers so we can be confident in our range and pass that confidence on to our customers; we only stock items we are sure you will be delighted to receive. In every case we aim to represent our products as fairly as possible. In the case of hampers, substitutions are occasionally necessary; if this is the case, missing items will be substituted for items of the same or higher quality and value.
If you're ordering alcoholic items, you and the recipient of the item must be over the age of 18, and identification will be required on delivery.
14.3 Cancellation, Return and Refund on Tangible Items
In the case of perishable items, it is not always possible to cancel and order once it has been processed. In most other cases however, we will attempt to fulfil cancel requests up to 2 hours before delivery.
If your order hasn't arrived, arrives incomplete or arrives damaged you can contact our customer service team and we will be happy to correct the mistake. Please don't destroy or throw away any product until you have spoken with a member of our team, who will advise how to proceed. In the case of gift items which contain multiple products, for example hampers, damaged contents will be replaced as specified.
Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. Redemption
Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers (including products branded as Gift Certificates) ("Gift Cards") may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products on www.amazon.co.uk or other Amazon stores as designated by us from time to time (such as Amazon 4-star). Purchases are deducted from the redeemer's Gift Card balance. Any unused Gift Card balance will be placed in the redeemer's Amazon.co.uk account. If a purchase exceeds the redeemer's Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. Amazon EU S.à r.l. or its affiliates ("we", "us", and "our") may provide Gift Card purchasers with information about the redemption status of Gift Cards that they purchase. 2. Limitations
Gift Cards, including any unused Gift Card balances, expire ten years from the date of issuance. Gift Cards may not be redeemed for the purchase of products at www.amazon.at, www.amazon.com.br, www.amazon.ca, www.amazon.cn, www.amazon.com, www.amazon.de, www.amazon.es, www.amazon.fr, www.amazon.in, www.amazon.it, www.amazon.co.jp, www.amazon.com.mx, or any other website owned and operated by us, our affiliates, or any other person or entity, except as indicated by these terms and conditions. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, used for unauthorised commercial purposes, including to facilitate the resale or shipment of goods from Amazon.co.uk, redeemed for cash, or used in a manner otherwise prohibited by our Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards Restrictions and Prohibited Activities policy. Unused Gift Card balances in an Amazon.co.uk account may not be transferred to another Amazon.co.uk account.
3. Risk of Loss
The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, or our delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.
4. Fraud
We will have the right to close customer accounts and take payment from alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on Amazon.co.uk or any of its affiliated websites set forth above.
5. Limitation of Liability
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD. IF APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
6. General Terms
The Amazon.co.uk Conditions of Use & Sale apply. Gift Cards are issued by Amazon EU S.à r.l., a Luxembourg entity. When you purchase, receive or redeem a Gift Card, you agree that the laws of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg will govern these Gift Card terms and conditions. If you are a consumer and have your habitual residence in the European Union, you additionally enjoy the protection afforded to you by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. We reserve the right to require additional verification of your identity, Gift Card or account ownership, or provision of an additional payment instrument, before you are able to apply a Gift Card to your account or your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance to a purchase. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in our discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
7. Previously Issued Gift Cards
Gift Cards issued on or after July 1, 2013 may be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products up to ten years from the date of issuance, notwithstanding any stated expiration date. Any Gift Cards issued prior to July 1, 2013 expire in accordance with their stated terms.
Cheque Terms and Conditions
If you choose the £100 cheque, this will be sent in the post to the address you supply when you choose this option. You’ll typically receive your how to claim email within 15 days after you’ve made each of your 6 monthly payments. Claimants should allow up to 15 days for delivery of the Cheque from the date of submitting their full name and postal address.
The cheque will be made out in the policy holder’s name. As the policy holder, you will need to have a bank account open in your own name, to be able to bank the cheque. Once the cheque is chosen as the gift, the customer will need to provide MLP with their full name linked to their bank account and postal address via a data capture form. The cheque will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue and should be cashed within this period of time. After this time has passed, you will not be able to cash your cheque.
If you cannot bank a cheque in your own name, you should not choose this option.
